1. Goal - oriented consultation
The primary task of level measurement technology is the management of levels. The required accuracy depends on the product - sometimes a relatively simple, standard overfill protection is that's needed, but in other cases calibrated instruments for precise measurement of levels must be implemented. Just like with the other components, one needs expert knowledge to be able to select the right instrument. Besides the medium itself, the installation situation also plays a significant role. Fittings, filling pipes or tanks not quite up to DIN standard can all cause measurement errors.

Although measurement technology is a key element of the installed systems, its portion of the costs of the complete project is relative low at only 5 -7%. One of the primary requirements is, therefore, that the measurement technology be reliable and straightforward.
